Top 10 Inventions

Since the biggining of the 20th century we can find a lot of improvements and inventions, but im going to give my own list of the 5 best:

· Internet: In my opinion the most important. It can be used for sharing information, entertainment or even search news. Since 30 years ago, the 'net' have increased its number of internauts by 4.000.000.000 people, thats like a 60% of actually total world inhabitants.
· Computers: From its origins to now, they have been compacted 7 metres from each side, so thats a huge comparation referring, for example, to the first computer used by the nasa, that weigth more than 1 tone. Its graphics and procesator make us a easier way of life
· Airbag: This improvement was created by a normal men that suffer the crash of his car, and all his family died except him cause of the accident. He creatd this compact pill of air that notice where was a strong hit in the car.
· Microwaves: Now a days its common to have our food hot in 2 minutes, but 100 years ago, you would had to prepare a fire, then take the food and also try to not cook so much it. This simple but effective invention uses technology developed by Sovietic Russia and then first used by USA in this compact furniture
· Compact Memories: 3Million of songs in only 7mm2, thats normal in our time, but some years ago, 10 songs used a card of 10cm2, that's the improvement of compacticty, and also, micro chips, that let us wear on all our information without disturbing us

Finally, i must talk about Electricity, that amazing discover that makes our lifes easier.

Graffitis

Talking about Art, we can difference 2 tyoes of outdoor art: Graffity, is an art that revels against the society, and it is usually made for disturbing and not for crate art. By the other way, Street Art comprends Style and a project of improve the streets, so thats good for our streets.

Talking about graffity, we can take a small group that have considered like art, that really represent what a graffity should be. Street Art is known because of its different styles, lke pop art. Also we can find Memorable artists, like Jean. Michel Basquiat 'SAMO' or Bonksy, wich have more than 400 draws between them 2. We can find different styles of letters, like bubble letters, Block or Wildstyle

Referring to places, we can find in the Route 66 some Street Art, or in the famous '34th Street Wall', who has increased its wide 3cm because of all the capes of paintworks.

St. Patricks Day

St. Patricks Day is celebrated annualy on 17th of March, commemoring the death of St. Patricks, the patron of Ireland.

Some of the tipical symbols are:
· Shamrock: It's a kind of grass that its known around the world due to giving luck. It's composed by 3 leafs and a little stem
· Snakes: There aren't any snake o the island due to the separation of it from England before the glaciation, but the tradition says that it was St. Patrick who leet the island without snakes.

· Colour green: It's known around the world that ireland is the 'green country' because of its huge plains of grass. Every year on 17th March, a lot of landmarks of many cities become green for celebrate the festivity

· Celtic cross: It's true employment was for decore churches and other christian places, but the design tell us about the tipical irish sculptures and its way of ornament the figures. This cross is also famous in places like A Coruña, Asturias or part of France

· Leprechauns: This small and cute creatures come from the ancient mithology, and they have the theory of bringing with them a cauldrum with gold. The legend says that if you follow a rainbow and you find the end, you will see a Leprechaun that will give you all the gold

St. Valentin's day

St. Valentin's day is know all around the world because it's the day of love, but only a few people know the true history of this day.

The history began in the Roman Empire in the III century, where there was a law that prohibit the soldiers of the army get married, for not get distracted. Valentin was a priest that thought soldiers could have married and work perfectly, so he began to celebrate hidden weddings. He married more than 1000 couples. When Claudio II (the Emperor) know about that, he decided to cut Valentin's head down, just the day of 14th of February of 270, so that's the reason of we celebrate this festivity on 14th.

Referring to the actual Festivity, the first postcard was sent by Esther A. Howland, where it was represented a small boy winged holding a bow, that came from the Roman mitology. He was Cupido, whose name comes from 'Cupiditas (Wish)'. Now a Days, St. Valentin is celebrated all around the world, but in different days, like, for example Egypt, where the festivity is on November 4th. It's estimated that 100Million of postcards are sent every year in all the world

Museums

Referring to Museums, there's one near Ciudad Rodrigo that was proclamed Patrimonio de la Humanidad in 2010. It's an Outdoor Museum called Siega Verde.

Siega Verde is an prehistoric museum that contains around 200 rock graves, and it was discovered in 1988 by Manuel Antoja. Siega Verde is in the side of River Ageda, thats the reason of prehistoric people live there: the water. Living near a river was an advantage, because there were a lot of types of animals, like we can see in the graves. We can find deers, buffaloes or even rhinos. This meuseum can be visited by the night, where with the help of lanterns, we can appreciate better the figures.

Referring to activities, this museum have the opprtunities of 'hunt' or create a fire like they do.

Using flint, or using a rude bow and a stick, You can easily create a small fire. You can also create your spearhead by crashing flint pieces. It's amazing how they survive!

I like visit museums, but this is the one that i liked the most!

Top 10 crimes in USA

Now I'm going to talk about my personal ranking of the top 10 common crimes in USA.

1. Vehicle Theft: It's a common crime in the south part of USA, where there's a high percent of criminality. The most of the thefts are committed with a screwdriver, using it on the car door. It's also common to break the window. The most stolen type of cars are 'Honda Accord' and 'Honda Civic'.

2. Domestic Violence: It's common around the world, but USA is a country with a high percentage.more than 1000 women suffer this type of violence every year, and around a 10% get killed by their partners.

3. Aggravated assault: Usually common between mafias, itss made to have a kind of control in neighbourghs, or to resolve some troubles between them.

4. Hacks: More and more, technology controls all in our days, and that could be a trouble if other people take and share our personal information. the number of 'Hacker' in EEUU have increased a 300% in last 10 years, referring to more than 100.000 people in all USA.

5. Raped: This type of violence is concentrated in all USA, where the number of raped women have increased by 40.000 in 2 years.

6. Racketeering/Fraud: Common in finances, it's a type of crime where there's no violence. The government estimates that $13M are fraud per year in USA

7. Prostitution: It's common in all USA, but the higher percentage of prostitution resides in the frontier with Mexico, where there's a lot of women traffic

8. Burglury: Assaults to houses are the most common type of thefts in USA. It's said that 250.000 houses are burglured in USA in a year

9. Drugs: Except in some States, having drugs is a hard crime, and trade with them can be worst. You can pass all the rest of your life in a prison because of trading drugs

10. Murder: USA is known around the world as one of the countries with more murders in the world. Every 2 days there are 6 murder in USA, when in Spain there are 1 every 2 weeks
